Search Wikipedia Right From Your WhatsApp

Wikipedia is undoubtedly the goto place for most of the questions. In case, you have never heard of Wikipedia(though that is highly unlikely), here is what it is:

Wikipedia is a free encyclopaedia, written collaboratively by the people who use it. It is a special type of website designed to make collaboration easy, called a wiki. Many people are constantly improving Wikipedia, making thousands of changes per hour.

Wikipedia recently came up with a new initiative. You can now get information from Wikipedia using WhatsApp. When we tested the Wikipedia WhatsApp search, we were a bit disappointed with the time it took to fetch the result. However, it can come really handy if you are low on data or are feeling super lazy.

Here is how you can use Wikipedia search using WhatsApp.

1. Create a contact with name Wikipedia and number +1(581)318-3940

2. Create a Group with any Group name and add this contact (wikipedia) only. You are already
another contact by default: so wikipedia and you (only 2 members) become the members.

3. Now you post in that group, anything textual to search in Wikipedia starting text with "wiki<space>". For an instance, if you want something to know about "iPhone", you need to type: wiki iPhone.
(WIKI <SPACE> iPhone)

4. Wikipedia replies you in the group automatically.
