Best Doctor Search Applications Out There

When you are sick, you need to get to a doctor. If you don't know which doctor is good and which doctor is around you. Then you go to Google and search for doctors in area or specialist in this area. Then Google gives you lot of options. You will have to read carefully and decide where to go.

This kind of situations should not happen to you. You should be able to search doctor's in well pattern. There are many apps/websites in market which makes you search doctor's around you. Some of the apps are Google, MediZone - Search Doc, Prato - Find Doctor, Just Dial, etc.

1. Google Search:

When google find outs all options in search, you get all kind of options. Like websites those are providing these kind of search options, list of few doctors with map, some links of hospitals, etc.

If you are viewing doctor's list then you will be able to figure out which doctor you want from the list. You can get more list of doctor's after clicking on more places. This will give you list as well as map locations which makes more understanding about distance and locality. This also gives open timings, websites, reviews, get directions which is beneficial to searching person to decide. 

On click to any doctor in list, it shows all details of doctor like reviews, timing, address, phone number, etc. It also gives you option to write review or add missing information of that place.

2. MediZone - Search Doc:

Recently, I saw this app on app store. UI of this app looks pretty much impressive. This app shows doctors around your location. Also, it shows two views like Google i.e List as well as Map. This app uses Google's API as it shows "powered by Google" on bottom of list. It also displays rating for Doctor and distance from current location in Doctor's location. The co-ordination between map and list is similar to Google website place selection. In details of Doctor, all details are shown as Address, Timings, Website, Open or Close, Contact Number, Reviews.

Some additional points:

• Filtering doctors according to their speciality or by name
• Change location by dragging current location marker or by searching in autocomplete view.
• There is additional thing in details screen. User have some options like Share,  Get Directions, Call Doctor, Browse website of Doctor. 
• The app is pretty much useful at required times. Also, it is handy for user to use it.

3. Doctor Finder - US News:

Most of all US Physcians are found in Doctor Finder. All doctors are ranked at this portal. You can search doctors in particular area by giving Zip code or by name. Also user can find doctors by category. 

After getting search results, there are lot of filter options like by preferred gender, location, years of experience, etc. There is sort option is also there which includes distance and alphabetical order.

4. Practo - Find Doctor:

Prato provides app as well as web search. In Google Search, you can also find Practo's web in list. Practo gives you many options to search like Doctors, Clinics, Labs, Treatments, Spas and Salons, Fitness, etc. Also, it gives you ability change city and search.

Once you starts search, it will give you lots of options for filtering like Speciality, Availability, Fees, Location. Practo integrated all doctors in their system by contacting them. So Practo provides booking options directly on Web and on App. No need to call doctor, you will get confirm booking if there is any slot available for you. There is rating provided for doctors by users. Also, you can view Education, Feedback, Photos, Services, Map Location, etc.

5. Finding Top Doctors - Castle Connolly:

This is also similar portal which lets you find doctors around your area. User can add zip code, city, area to find top doctors. By name and by speciality is also filter criteria available.

Here, advance search option is available. This option can search many small things like disease, insurance company, insurance plan, etc.
